Abstract
The aim of this Resolution is to take precautionary measures for facing bird flu in order to protect the public and animal health. This Resolution is composed of 4 articles. Articles 1 and 2 ban the importation of marine and wild birds, their products, and live birds including also ornamental birds. All poultry products coming from Asian countries must be accompanied by a veterinary certificate issued by an accredited laboratory.
