Resolution No. 25 of 2023 regulating navigation permits for visiting ships in Bahraini waters.

Its provisions pertain to visiting ships engaged in various purposes, including: (i) excursion and recreational trips; (ii) maintenance services; (iii) refueling services; (iv) procurement of necessary supplies; and (v) participation in marine exhibitions. The Resolution covers: (i) requirements for obtaining a navigation permit; (ii) issuance and renewal of the permit; (iii) obligations for visiting ships, encompassing compliance with Kingdom laws, license terms, continuous AIS operation, crew requirements, seaworthiness, accident reporting, and timely departure; (iv) responsibilities of the visiting ship agent; (v) suspension and cancellation of the permit; (vi) oversight and verification; (vii) conducting commercial activity after securing the required license; and (ix) associated fees.
