Resolution No. 3 of 1996 concerning the ban on the importation, production and trade of asbestos and asbestos containing materials.

This Resolution aims at the protection of public health and the environment. The present Resolution is composed of 3 articles and 1 Annex. Article 1 decrees the ban on the importation, production and trade of asbestos and asbestos containing materials unless a previous licence from the Environment Protection Committee has been obtained. Annex I lists the suspect asbestos containing materials which necessitate an adopted analysis certificate demonstrating that they are free from asbestos.
