Resolution No. 49 of 2001 issuing the Model Regulation the Statute for Cooperatives.

The aim of this Resolution is to regulate the establishment and management of cooperatives. This Resolution is composed of 2 articles and the Model Regulation for the Statute of cooperatives. Article 1 adopts the attached Regulation as a model for cooperative statutes. The Model Regulation provides for the following matters: name, seat, validity, objectives and activity of the cooperative; members and membership; management of the cooperative including the Council of Administration, General Assembly and Finance; (4) incorporation, dissolution and liquidation of cooperatives; etc.
