Resolution No. 9 of 2005 concerning the procedures for obtaining a licence for the erection of barriers (Almasaker).

The aim of this Resolution is to regulate fishing and the exploitation of marine wealth. The present Resolution is composed of 8 articles and 1 Annex. Article 1 specifies the procedures for obtaining a licence for the erection of barriers (Almasaker). Articles 2 and 3 deal with the recording and registration of applications. Article 4 gives owners of irregular barriers 2 months from the date of entry into force of this Resolution to settle their situations. Article 5 refers to the revocation of licences. Article 7 contains offences and penalties. Annex I contains the Application Form for obtaining a licence for the erection of barriers.
