Abstract
This Resolution, comprising 3 Articles, prohibits the fishing of emperor fish, rabbitfish, and seabream in the regional waters of the Kingdom of Bahrain during April and May each year. For 2024, however, the ban applies only for the month of May. Any of these species caught during the closed season must be immediately released back into the sea and handled with due care to ensure their safety. Punishment for violations is regulated by Decree-Law No.20 of 2002.
