Abstract
This Resolution, comprising 9 Articles and one Annex, stipulates that waste cannot be transported without a permit from the competent authority, namely the Executive Body of the Supreme Council for Environment, and that a separate permit must be obtained for each vehicle used in waste transport. Requirements for the license application are dealt with in Article 3. Under Article 5, transporters must deliver waste only to licensed sites and equip each vehicle with GPS tracking and loading/unloading detection systems linked to the monitoring system. Furthermore, transporters must comply, throughout the permit period, with the vehicle specifications and requirements for each type of waste listed in the annex to this Resolution. The Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, assigned the duties of the CEO of the Supreme Council for Environment, shall implement the provisions of this Resolution. Penalties for violations are prescribed under Law No. 7 of 2022 on the Environment.
