Abstract
These Rules implement provisions of the Halal Meat Act.
The Rules provide for: the form of the Halal Import Permit; inspection reports on slaughtering centres; the form of the Halal Certificate; halal labels; procedures for obtaining a licence for supplying local halal meat; Slaughtering Certificate form; storage and packaging of halal meat; slaughtering requirements and procedures; fees; etc.
