Abstract
This Order consisting of 9 sections aims to amend the original text to redefine certain roles and responsibilities within the legal framework governing plant variety protection. The amendments aim to enhance the clarity and functionality of the regulatory framework by substituting the term Minister with Attorney General in various sections, thereby shifting the legal authority responsible for overseeing plant variety protection and aligning the legal authority with the appropriate governmental structure. Under amended Section 64 the Attorney General may exercise certain powers previously attributed to the Minister.
