Abstract
This Act provides for giving effect in Brunei Darussalam to the International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
The Act sets out procedures and requirements for obtaining permits and certificates to trade in, export or import any species listed in the Appendixes to the Convention. The permits shall be granted by the Director of the Forestry Department.
The Act further provides for: effects of permits and certificates; powers of investigation, arrest, search, seizure, etc. of authorized officers; offences and penalties; etc.
