Abstract
This Resolution provides for the sanitary requirements of food additives. This Resolution provides for the requirements for composition, quality, safety and labelling of food additives and for updating the lists of nutrients, bioactive substances, enzymes and probiotics, limits on their use, claims and supplementary labelling of these products. This Resolution does not apply to food for special purposes and to conventional food, including those added with nutrients, bioactive substances, enzymes or probiotics. The constituents authorized for use in the composition of food supplements are restricted to those set out in Annexes I and II of Order No. 28 of 26 July 2018, which establishes lists, limits of use, claims and labelling requirements of food additives. Other ingredients may be used in the preparation of food additives to provide flavour, colour or to dissolve, dilute, disperse or alter their consistency or shape, provided that they meet specific requirements.
