Complementary Law No. 11.065 approving the Master Plan for Land Use Planning in the State.

This Complementary Law approves the Master Plan for Land Use Planning in the State (PDOT). The PDOT is the fundamental instrument of territorial policy, covering both urban and rural areas, which encompasses the entire territory of the Federal District; it is designed to guide the actions of public and private actors, as well as to set priorities for the allocation of budgetary resources and investments. Territorial policy is the set of strategies and actions that seeks the full development of the social and environmental functions of urban and rural property and the socially just and ecologically balanced use of its territory in order to promote human well-being, territorial resilience, urban mobility and sustainable socio-economic development.
