Abstract
This Law amends article 6 of Complementary Law No. 13 on fishing activities, aquaculture and aquatic animal protection. Amended article establishes that fish farmers with areas of up to 5 hectares of water depth in excavated tanks and/or aerial tanks, in rainwater accumulation dams with up to 50 hectares and in net tanks of up to 10,000 cubic meters of water, are exempt from environmental licensing and granting, as well as from paying registration fees and granting the right to use water resources, and must, obligatorily, complete registration with NATURATINS.
