Decree of 8 November 2002 declaring of social interest, for the purposes of the agrarian reform, some properties in the States of Para, Minas Gerais, Maranhao, Goias, Ceará.

This Decree, composed of 4 articles, declares of social interest, for the purposes of the agrarian reform, the following rural properties: “Fazenda Croatá, Escondida, Amarração, Lagoa Grande e Jandaíra”, “Fazenda Boa Vista”, “Fazenda Vaca Brava e Pereiros”, “Fazenda Rio Vermelho”, “Agropecuária Miranda”, “Tambor, Centro Velho e Centro de José Joaquim”, “Fazenda Bacabinha”, “Fazenda Barreirinho “Fazenda Boca da Caatinga”, “Fazenda Santa Marta e Retiro”. The Decree establishes the competence of the National Institute for the Agriculture Reform (INCRA) to promote and supervise the expropriation of the aforementioned rural lands.
