Abstract
This Decree regulates Act No. 7.797 on the creation of the National Fund for the Environment, administered by the Ministry of the Environment. It regulates the activities of the aforementioned Fund, which has an accounting and financial nature and is intended to support projects aiming at the rational and sustainable use of natural resources, including the maintenance, improvement and recovery of environmental sector, with a view to raising the quality of life of the Brazilian population.
