Decree No. 10.375 establishing the National Bioinputs Programme and its Strategic Council.

This Decree establishes the National Bioinput Programme and its Strategic Council, within the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, with the purpose of expanding and strengthening the use of bioinputs in the country to benefit the agricultural sector. The National Bioinput Programme will be coordinated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, which is responsible for: establishing partnerships to implement and develop bioinputs actions; promote bio-inputs; develop manual of good practices for units producing bioinputs (biofactories) with priority to small and medium production; stimulate innovations in agriculture and national aquaculture production, to cover aspects of the bioeconomy; implement national strategies that inform about the potential use and benefits of bioinputs for agricultural production, with a view to activities to reduce impacts on the environment and health; encourage the development of research that guarantees innovation and advancement in the different components of thematic axes; promote good practices in the production and use of bioinputs through training, etc.
