Abstract
This Decree creates the Disaster Support Group within the Ministry of Regional Development. The National Center for Risk and Disaster Management of the National Secretariat for Civil Defense and Protection of the Ministry of Regional Development will coordinate the Disaster Support Group. It establishes composition and duties of the Disaster Support Group which is responsible for perform the following activities: I - assist the National Secretariat for Civil Defense and Protection of the Ministry of Regional Development in the exercise of its powers and in the articulation and coordination of the Federal Civil Defense and Protection System; and II - support the National Civil Defense and Protection System in the articulation and coordination of disaster risk management actions.
