Abstract
This Decree creates the Jardim Ingá Collaborative Natural Park in the municipality of Luziânia, Goiás, as a protected area of public interest covering approximately 7.04 hectares. Its primary objective is to establish a legally recognized natural park for environmental conservation purposes, while ensuring the protection and management of the designated area under the framework of the state's environmental legislation. To enable the implementation of the park, the Decree declares the specified privately owned lands to be of social interest for expropriation and identifies the properties that will form part of the protected area. The Decree further aims to secure the long-term preservation of the area by establishing administrative and legal mechanisms for its management and protection. It provides that the park will be administered by the proposing collaborators, who must comply with the requirements of the relevant state legislation, and it authorizes the State Attorney General's Office to undertake the necessary administrative and judicial measures related to implementation. The Decree also establishes that activities causing environmental damage within the park will be subject to sanctions under applicable federal environmental laws, thereby strengthening the legal protection of the newly created conservation area.
