Abstract
This Decree ratifies the Technical Cooperation Agreement, aiming to promote technical cooperation in areas considered priorities by the Parties, such as: agriculture, livestock, health, education, professional training, among other areas of interest, with the purpose of promoting socio-economic development. The Parties may benefit from trilateral cooperation mechanisms, through triangular partnerships with other countries, international organizations and regional agencies, in order to achieve the objectives of this Agreement. Technical cooperation programmes, projects and activities will be implemented through Complementary Adjustments, subject, on the Brazilian side, to approval by its National Congress and, on the Pakistani side, to approval by the competent forum. For the development of programmes, projects and activities relating to this Agreement, the Parties may consider the participation of public and private institutions, as well as non-governmental organizations from both countries, as agreed through Complementary Agreements.
