Abstract
This Decree regulates, at the federal level, Law No. 11.284 establishing the management of public forests for sustainable production. In particular, it regulates: the National Registry of Public Forests; the allocation of public forests to local communities; the Multi-Annual Forest Concession Plan; the bidding and forestry concession contracts; the monitoring and auditing concessions in public forests; and the forest restoration and the exploitation of credits for environmental services in forestry concessions.
