Abstract
This Decree establishes the Brazilian Sustainable Taxonomy (TSB) as an instrument of the Federal Executive Branch's Ecological Transformation Plan. The TSB consists of a classification system for activities, assets, and project categories that contribute to the achievement of climate, environmental, and social objectives through specific criteria. The strategic objectives of the TSB are: to mobilise and guide public and private financing and investments towards economic activities with positive climate, environmental, and social impacts, with a view to sustainable, inclusive, and regenerative development; to promote innovation and technological densification aimed at environmental, climate, social and economic sustainability, increasing the productivity and competitiveness of the Brazilian economy on a sustainable basis; and to lay the foundations for the production of reliable information on sustainable finance flows by encouraging transparency, integrity and a long-term vision for economic and financial activities.
