Abstract
This Decree provides for the Brazilian Nuclear Programme Development Committee. The Committee is an advisory body to the President of the Republic, designed to establish guidelines and targets for the development of the Brazilian Nuclear Programme and to supervise its implementation. The guidelines and targets of the programme shall be established by means of an act of the Committee. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the Committee, entitled for: I - proposing updates to the Brazilian Nuclear Policy and its instruments; II - collaborating in the formulation and integration of public policies related to the nuclear sector; and III - monitoring: a) the implementation of the Brazilian Nuclear Policy; and b) the planning and execution of the Brazilian Nuclear Programme and its instruments.
