Decree No. 16.337 establishing the Support Programme for Indigenous and Quilombola Communities in Mato Grosso do Sul (PROACINQ).

This Decree establishes the Support Programme for Indigenous and Quilombola Communities in Mato Grosso do Sul (PROACINQ). In particular, the Programme aims at supporting Indigenous and Quilombola family farmers in strengthening sustainable production, with a view to guaranteeing income generation, social well-being, the exercise of citizenship and quality of life. The beneficiaries of PROACINQ will be family farmers, women and young people from indigenous villages, and the entire quilombola community of Mato Grosso do Sul. Coordination and monitoring of PROACINQ will be carried out by the Executive Secretariat for Family Farming, Native Peoples and Traditional Communities, with the implementation of the Agrarian Development and Rural Extension Agency (AGRAER), other partnerships providing non-formal education services, known as technical assistance and rural extension (ATER), and technical assistance companies based in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul.
