Abstract
This Decree creates the Environmental Regularization Programme (PRA) and regulates the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) within the State of Amapá. The PRA comprises a set of actions and initiatives to be carried out by rural landowners and land users with the aim of adapting and promoting environmental regularization under the terms of Chapter XIII of Federal Law No. 12.651 of 25 May 2012. The registration of rural properties in the CAR will be carried out through the National Rural Environmental Registration System (SICAR), made available by the federal government, in accordance with Norm No. 2/MMA of 6 May 2014. The PRA is aimed solely at the environmental regularization of rural property and does not, under any circumstances, generate any expectation of entitlement to land regularization or recognition of possession or ownership of rural property.
