Abstract
This Law establishes the mandatory prior inspection of products and by-products of animal origin produced in the State of Roraima intended for consumption. In addition, it establishes service fees relating to the inspection of industrial and agro-industrial products and by-products of animal origin, on the basis in the Federal Constitution, and in accordance with the Federal legislation, the State Inspection Service (SIE/RR). Inspection will be carried out before and after the animals intended for slaughtering, as well as the processing, transformation, conservation, packaging, storage, deposit, labelling and transit of products of animal origin within the State of Roraima. Establishments selling products of animal origin are subject to inspection if they carry out intermunicipal trade, classified together with their derivatives as: meat; fish; milk; eggs; bee products; storage; rural properties supplying raw materials for the handling or processing of products of animal origin; and ports, airports, border posts and special export customs clearance facilities.
