Decree No. 28.600 creating the provisional Internal Regulations of the Water and Sewage Micro-Region in the State of Rondônia.

This Decree creates the provisional Internal Regulations of the Water and Sewage Microregion within the State of Rondônia. The Microregion is a special regime intergovernmental autarchy, established by Complementary Law No. 1.200 of 13 October 2023, which institutes the Microregion of Water and Sewage in the State of Rondônia and its respective governance structure, and has an indefinite duration. The purpose of the microregion is to enable inter-federative co-operation and the concerted exercise of public functions of common interest as provided. The microregion must ensure: the establishment and maintenance of mechanisms that guarantee the isonomic provision of services; the integrated planning of services; the promotion of dialogue, interaction and effective cooperation between the state and municipalities; making information widely available to the competent institutional players in the 3 federal spheres; the promotion of transparency and social participation in the actions and public policies, including through the participation of representatives of civil society in planning processes, in decision-making and in monitoring; observance of regional and local peculiarities; and effective and economical use of public resources.
