Abstract
This Decree approves the Regulation of the State Law No. 10.086 on the the sanitary licensing of small scale or artisanal family agribusiness establishments for processing and marketing of agro products in the State of Maranhão. This Regulation, consisting of XIII Chapters, establishes the principles to be followed as follows: promoting the preservation of human health and the environment at the same time, involving not precluding the installation and legalization of Family Agribusiness, in small scale or; being the focus of action on the sanitary quality of the final products; promoting ongoing and continuous educational process for all stakeholders in the supply chain, establishing the democratization of service and ensuring maximum participation of government, civil society, agro-industry, consumer and technical and scientific communities in technology and inspection systems; promoting sustainable development of the state, generating jobs and income in rural areas.
