Abstract
This Decree approves the Regulation establishing the rules governing, throughout the national territory, inspection and industrial and sanitary inspection over animal products. This Regulation, consisting of 17 Titles, aims at carrying out controls and inspections in order to preserve the safety, identity, quality and integrity of products and health as well as the interests of consumers, implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply in registered or related establishments in the Federal Inspection Service (amended by Decree No. Decree No. 1.255 of 1962; Decree No. 7.216 of 2010; Decree No. 8.444 of 6 May 2015 and Decree No. 8.681 of 23 February 2016).
