Abstract
This Decree amends the National Forestry Programme - PNF. Amendments deal with selected measures for the implementation of the National Forestry Programme, established by Law No. 6.938, and the Forestry Code established by Law No. 4.771 The mentioned Programme will estimulate the descentralization of the implementation of actions in the involved sectors. This Decree will apply on the following regions: Amazones; Cerrado and Pantanal; Caatinga; and Atlantic Forest and "Campos Sulinos" for the sustainable exploitation of native and reforested forests. Composition, duties and competencies of the institution CONAFLOR are established in the text.
