Decree No. 48.691 providing for the State Commission for the Sustainable Development of the Peoples and Traditional Communities of Minas Gerais.

This Decree provides for the State Commission for the Sustainable Development of the Peoples and Traditional Communities of Minas Gerais (CEPCT-MG). The purpose of CEPCT-MG is to coordinate and implement the State Policy for the Sustainable Development of Traditional Peoples and Communities, referred to in Law No. 21.147 of 14 January 2014, and is responsible for: prepare and monitor the execution of the State Plan for the Sustainable Development of the Peoples and Traditional Communities of Minas Gerais; propose the necessary actions relevant to the sustainable development of traditional communities, encouraging the decentralization of the execution of these actions and the participation of civil society; identify the need and propose the creation or modification of instruments necessary for the implementation of relevant policies for the sustainable development of traditional peoples and communities, etc.
