Decree No. 53.721 providing for the State Council for School Feeding, within the State of Rio Grande do Sul.

This Decree, consisting of 9 articles, provides for the State Council for School Feeding (CEAE) within the State of Rio Grande do Sul. It establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned State Council as a collegiate body of controlling and advisory nature regarding the application of the financial resources allocated in the budget of the Union for the Implementation of the National School Feeding Programme (PNAE) through the National Education Development Fund (FNDE), destined to the purchase of school meals in the State of Rio Grande do Sul. CEAE has the following competencies: to monitor, and supervise the compliance with guidelines established in Federal Law 11.947 of 16 June 2009; to analyse the PNAE Management Monitoring Report, prior to the preparation and submission of the final opinion; to analyse the accountability of the manager; to communicate to the FNDE and other control bodies any irregularities identified in the execution of the PNAE; etc.
