Abstract
This Decree amends the basic organizational structure of the State Secretariat for the Environment and Water Resources (SEAMA), reorganized by Complementary Law No. 1.037 of 30 March 2023. It creates and includes in SEAMA's basic organizational structure the following administrative units: I - Special Advisory Office for Protected Areas and Priority Projects (ASAPRI), and II - Coastal Monitoring Management (GMC), both hierarchically subordinate to SEAMA's Secretary of State. Secretary of State of SEAMA. In addition, it extinguishes the following administrative units from SEAMA's basic organizational structure: I - State Sub-Secretariat for Biodiversity and Protected Areas (SUBAPI); II - Protected Areas Management (GARPROT); and III - Animal Welfare Management (GBEA).
