Decree No. 7.515 approving the Structure of the Institution for Biodiversity Conservation "Chico Mendes"

This Decree approves the Structure of the Institution for Biodiversity Conservation "Chico Mendes". This Structure, consisting of 7 Chapters and 3 Annexes, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned institution, entitled to implement activities of the National Policy for the conservation of biodiversity, in particular for proposals, management, protection, and control at Federal and National levels. It also applies for the sustainable use of renewable natural resources and support to indigenous populations; promote and implement research programmes. Annexes specifies composition of this institution.
