Abstract
This Decree amends Decree No. 9.013 . Amendments deal with the following issues regulating: animal species - bovine, buffalo, equine, swine, sheep, goats, lagomorphs and domestic birds, as well as wild animals bred in captivity slaughtered in establishments under veterinary inspection; Health tests will be repeated if a period of more than twenty-four hours elapses between the first evaluation and the moment of slaughter. Only amphibians and reptiles should be subjected to ante-mortem inspection. Carcasses of swine, goats, sheep and buffaloes, positive or non-reactive reagents for diagnostic tests for brucellosis, which present a localized lesion, should be used for the conditional use of heat after the affected areas have been removed and condemned; post-mortem inspection of cattle and buffaloes.
