Law No. 10.536 creating the State Programme for Government Procurement of Family Farming and Solidarity Economy (PECAFES) within the State of Rio Grande do Norte.

This Law, consisting of 9 articles, creates the State Programme for Government Procurement of Family Farming and Solidarity Economy (PECAFES) within the State of Rio Grande do Norte. The Programme aims at guaranteeing the direct and indirect acquisition of agricultural and livestock products, extractive and resulting from fishing activity, produced by farmers and their rural socioeconomic organizations, by traditional peoples and communities and by the beneficiaries of family farming as a way of ensuring sustainable rural development, promoting food and nutritional security and sovereignty and increasing the generation of employment and income.
