Abstract
This Law provides for the destination of raw forestry material from the suppression of vegetation in areas of public and private domain under the jurisdiction of the State, authorized by the competent environmental agency, within the environmental licensing process for public utility infrastructure and mining works. The timber potential, based on the sample forest inventory existing in the area subject to vegetation suppression, must be included in the environmental licensing process, among other requirements laid down in regulations. Authorized suppression of vegetation in state-owned forest areas must be compensated by the entrepreneur to the public forest management body, based on a valuation study. The valuation methodology for compensation purposes will be established by the public forest management body in a specific rule.
