Law No. 11.459 establishing the State Programme for Digital Environmental Education in the State of Pará.

This Law establishes the State Digital Environmental Education Programme in the State of Pará with the primary objective of promoting environmental education through digital platforms. The Programme seeks to raise public awareness and foster the development of citizens committed to sustainability and environmental conservation by providing accessible learning opportunities and encouraging greater engagement with environmental issues across the population. To achieve these objectives, the Law provides for the development and dissemination of online courses, webinars, and educational materials on environmental topics accessible to all citizens. It also encourages the creation of digital environmental content by students and local communities, promotes partnerships with educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector, and establishes mechanisms to monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness through participation and learning indicators. The Executive Branch is authorized to create partnerships, allocate resources, and conduct public outreach campaigns to ensure broad societal participation in the Programme.
