Law No. 11.626 creating the State Programme «Young Entrepreneur» within the State of Rio Grande do Norte.

This Law creates the State Programme «Young Entrepreneur» within the State of Rio Grande do Norte, aiming to encourage the creation of new companies within the State and encourage young people to adopt an entrepreneurial profile, open their first company and/or professionalize the management of their companies. The beneficiaries of the Programme are: students regularly enrolled in public schools; scholarship students in higher education or technical courses; and young people and teenagers between 16 and 29 years old who have an open company or who are looking to open their first company. The Programme's principles are: training young people to transform them into entrepreneurs by encouraging the teaching of entrepreneurship in schools and offering technical courses; promoting cooperation and interaction between public entities and between the public and private sectors, to achieve the Programme's objectives; promoting income generating activities; reducing the impact of refluxes in economic activity for youth, etc.
