Law No. 11.628 creating the State Programme to Promote Female Entrepreneurship in the State of Rio Grande do Norte.

This Law creates the State Programme to Promote Female Entrepreneurship in the State of Rio Grande do Norte. The principles of the State Programme are: encourage the training of women on the subject; develop female entrepreneurship and its specificities; cooperate between the different spheres of Public Power, the business sector and other segments of society; promote women entrepreneurs’ access to credit; promote the social and economic inclusion of women. The Programme aims to prepare women entrepreneurs and give them strategic action, with the following objectives: promoting the transformation of women into entrepreneurial leaders; encourage the creation of projects to be developed by women, as a way of enabling alternative work and income; expand skills, knowledge and practices that enable efficient business management, promoting entrepreneurship, leadership, planning, commercialization and governance; encourage the development of skills related to entrepreneurial activities; encourage women and their families to structure governance strategies for family succession; expand understanding of development, entrepreneurship, leadership, regional cultures and public policies for female empowerment; enhance productive action, combining training, technical assistance and access to credit actions.
