Law No. 11.676 - Dispõe sobre a prevenção et o combate às doenças associadas a exposição solar de trabalhador rural, de pescador e do aquiculturor no Estado do Rio Grande do Norte.

This Law provides for the prevention and combat of diseases associated with sun exposure among rural, fisheries and aquaculture workers with the aim of preventing and combating diseases associated with exposure to solar radiation. Prevention and control of diseases associated with sun exposure among rural, fisheries and aquaculture workers are guided by the following objectives: provide the health network and other public services with the necessary means to monitor the population's exposure to risk factors, to prevent, control and treat diseases resulting from sun exposure; promote educational campaigns aimed at: a) clarifying fisheries, aquaculture and the rural workers, about the care and procedures to be adopted when carrying out activities exposed to the sun, also contributing to the existence of a culture of use of sunscreens; b) encourage the population to undergo specialized examinations to detect cancer and other skin diseases.
