Law No. 12.387 providing for handling and processing of edible products of animal origin from family or small agro-industries in the State of Mato Grosso, as well as their registration, inspection and sanitary supervision.

This Law regulates the registration of establishments and edible products of animal origin from family or small agro-industries, as well as general aspects regarding their handling, processing, inspection and sanitary supervision within the State of Mato Grosso. These products may be marketed throughout the State, subject to specific requirements and regulations. The following guidelines will be observed in the registration procedure, such as: social and productive inclusion of the family and small agro-industry; rationalization, simplification and standardization of the procedures and requirements necessary for registration; registration of family or small agro-industrial establishment, as well as its products and labelling; III - integrated and coordinated action aimed at simplifying, reducing bureaucracy and promoting family and small agro-industry ventures; IV - providing guidance to the producers to obtain registration; V - promoting public policies and programmes to train health inspection service professionals aimed at serving family and small agro-industries.
