Abstract
This Law amends Art. 4 of Law No. 9.978 on the shrimp sustainable development within Rio Grande do Norte State, by defining the following: II - small scale: shrimp farming carried out in nurseries or special tanks, built on natural land, where the total productive flooded area, excluding supply channels, reservoirs and sedimentation basins, is greater than 5 hectares and equal to or less than 15 hectares; III - medium-scale: shrimp farming carried out in special ponds or tanks, built on natural land, where the total productive flooded area, excluding supply channels, reservoirs and sedimentation basins, is greater than 15 hectares and equal to or less than 50 hectares.
