Abstract
This Law, consisting of 5 Chapters, creates creating the Agriculture and Livestock Protection System and related Agency (ADAGRI). It establishes Agriculture and Livestock Protection System, composition, duties and responsibilities of related State Agency, entitled to promote and implement animal and plant sanitary protection and food quality, control and carry out inspection on any products originated from animals or plant, in particular: planning, designing, coordinating and performing programmes of sanitary procedures promotion, controlling in entrance, transport, trade of any product, sub-product and derivates from animal and plant origin; carry out research, and necessary phytosanitary measures within the territory of the State, analyzing infrastructures and actions in order to prevent and control animal and plant pest and disease; performing any activity related to sanitary procedures and registration of animal and plant products.
