Law No. 15.112 providing for a ban on the reconstitution of imported milk powder and other dairy products within the State of Bahia.

This Law provides for a ban on the reconstitution of powdered milk and other dairy products of imported origin within the State of Bahia. It establishes that within the State, where the product is of imported origin and the resulting product is intended for human consumption, the reconstitution by manufacturers, dairies and any legal entity of the following products is prohibited: powdered milk; powdered milk blend; whey powder; and other dairy products. The prohibition referred to in the heading of this article does not apply to products intended directly for the final consumer for domestic use, marketed in retail packaging and complying with the labelling standards established by the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa).
