Abstract
This Law creates the State Fair Energy Transition Policy and the Fair Energy Transition Centre, with the aim of promoting the sustainable development of production chains in the State of Santa Catarina.
The objectives of the State Policy are: sustainable economic development of the production chain of the Fair Energy Transition Centres with the rational and sustainable exploitation of natural resources for improving quality of life; equitable distribution of the costs and benefits of the transition to renewable and low-carbon energy models; sustainable use of renewable and non-renewable natural resources in Fair Energy Transition Centres, through their preservation and mitigation of environmental, economic and social damage; technological inputs and services for the production chain of Fair Energy Transition Centres; training and preparation of professionals; promotion of research, development and technological innovation for application in Fair Energy Transition Centres; monitoring and evaluating results and impacts that generate information, evaluation and critical analysis of the management and implementation of the Fair Energy Transition Plan, its structuring programmes, special projects, products and services, subsidizing the taking of decision of the Management Board.
