Abstract
This Law establishes standards for prevention, control, eradication and monitoring of lionfish (Pterois volitans) within the State of Pernambuco. The lionfish is considered an invasive exotic species (EEI), whose presence threatens the biological diversity and natural environment of the State of Pernambuco, under the terms of Order No. 2 of 29 December 2022, of the Secretariat of Environment and Sustainability and the State Environment Agency (CPRH).
