Abstract
This Law promotes the creation of Intermunicipal Agricultural Consortia, aiming to strengthen this sector within the State of Ceará. The purpose of these consortia aim to converge efforts in the search for maximum use of human, technical and financial resources, expanding markets and income generating activities for the agricultural and livestock sector within the State. The guidelines are: planning, implementation and shared management of public policies in favor of the development and strengthening of the agricultural and livestock sector in the State; promotion of good practices in the manufacture of artisanal products; promotion of health education and technical qualification in good agricultural and livestock practices for the continuous improvement of production systems; partnership aiming at health and food quality; sharing experiences and responsibilities to promote sustainable development and strengthen small and medium production; and encouraging the formalization of agro-industries, formal municipal and inter-municipal trade and the expansion of the consumer market for agricultural, agro-industrial and agro-ecological products in the State of Ceará.
