Law No. 22.218 establishing the State Policy to Promote Local Tourism.

This Law creates the State Policy to Promote Local Tourism. The State Policy has the following principles: free Initiative; decentralization and regionalization; productive inclusion; fair and sustainable socioeconomic development; balanced environment. The objectives of the State Policy are especially: achieve the goals of the Goiás tourism plan; encourage improvements in the quality of tourist services provided in the State; diversify the tourist offer; expand the consumption of tourism products within the State of Goiás, taking into account cultural and regional diversity; reduce regional inequalities in the State, structuring products in all municipalities with touristic attractions.
