Law No. 22.268 creating the State Public Policy “Patrulheiro do Rio”.

This Law establishes State Public Policy called “Patrulheiro do Rio”, with the objective of establishing ways of approaching and partnering with the riverside population, aiming to prevent and combat environmental crimes. To achieve the objectives of this Law, specific channels will be established between the riverside population and environmental authorities and environmental crime investigation bodies to formulate complaints.
