Abstract
This Law establishes the State Policy to Encourage the Use of Solar Energy, formulated and implemented as a way of rationalizing the consumption of electricity and other energy sources in the State of Amapá. The objectives of the State Policy are: - to encourage investment in and implementation of environmentally friendly solar energy systems, including technological development, in private and public, residential, community, commercial and industrial projects, as a way of reducing consumption of different energy sources; and - to create alternative employment and income generating activities.
